Wrestlers move on in state tournament

AHS Freshman Hannah Boerner won the 500 freestyle at North Central Conference Championship meet on Jan. 18th. She dropped almost 7 seconds from her seeded time to best the field. Ihnat to enter Hall of Fame

Longtime Anderson High School wrestling coach Al Ihnat will be inducted into the I.H.S.W.C.A. Hall of Fame this spring. Coach Ihnat completed 45 years of coaching at Anderson, Northside, Southside and finishing up at Highland Junior High. He began his coaching career in 1967.  We wish to congratulate his on this outstanding accomplishment.

The wrestling team won the Neal Muse Memorial Invitational this past Saturday at Lapel. The team went 5-0 on the day with wins over Southern Wells, APA, Lapel, Guerin Catholic and Mt. Senior Morgan Nadaline will continue her golfing career next fall at Ball State. She recently signed her national letter of intent to play for the Cardinals. Indian football reaches sectional finals

The Indians football team defeated Richmond last Friday to advance to the sectional finals. The final score of 35-24 over the 7-2 Red Devils turns around an earlier season loss during week three to the same team.
