Lady Tribe Advances in NCC Tournament

The Lady Tribe basketball team has advanced into the winner’s bracket of the 1st ever NCC women’s basketball tournament. Last weekend,  they beat Logansport 73-58 and the host Lady Kats from Kokomo 62-61. This Friday, they host the winner’s bracket with Marion playing Muncie Central at 6:00 and Arsenal Tech vs. Anderson at 8:00. On

Moran receives tennis honors

Senior Joe Moran has been named to the 2015 Indiana Boys All State Tennis Team as an honorable mention singles player. This award is presented by the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association.

Swimmers fair well at NCC Championships

The AHS boys and girls swim teams competed last Saturday at Purdue in the NCC Championships. The girls 200 Medley Relay team consisting of Claire Thompson, Emma Behrens, Aspen Bond and Abby Boerner came away as NCC Champions. The Indians had a number of other top performers on the day. AHS Girls Basketball Wins County Tournament

The Anderson Lady Tribe reigns as the 2016 Madison County Champions. The Lady Tribe under first year Head Coach Shannon Cleckley swept thru the tournament last week with wins over Elwood  63-41, Frankton 59-54 and a win over Pendleton Heights in the championship game 68-58. The team plays at Carmel this Wednesday with the NCC tournament starting

Girls Basketball Opens the Regular Season

The AHS girls basketball team opens up their regular season on Tuesday Nov. 3rd against the Pike Red Devils. The JV game starts at 6:00 followed by the varsity. Stiers Signs with IU East

 AHS Senior April Stiers has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at IU East next fall. April was a three year varsity volleyball letter winner and this past season was named to the NCC first team. She is also involved in the Munciana Volleyball program. Boys Soccer Players Receive State Honors

Several AHS boys soccer team members received state recognition for their work on and off the field this season. Junior Wesley Erny earned 1st team All District along with academic all state honors. Cross Country Runners Advance

Anderson will be well represented this weekend at the Delta Cross Country Regional. The boys team consisting of Jason Kabir, Austin Stevens, Aaron Ditsworth, Eddie Amalfitano, Xavier Jones, Roy Thomas and James Brandon advances after finishing third at last weekend’s Pendleton Heights Sectional.
