The Indians boys track team out ran the competition at the Mount Vernon track sectional. They were 22.5 points better than second place Mount Vernon. Girl’s track advances individuals

The girls track team advanced a number of individuals out of the sectional to move onto next week’s North Central Regional. Senior Darien Thompson was named the 2013 winner of the Johnny Wilson Award. This award is presented by the Herald Bulletin to the top three sport athlete in their readership area. Thompson named Top 100

Senior Darien Thompson has been named to the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 100 senior girls team for the 2012-13 season. The senior captain has been a four-year varsity player.

Thomas advances

Senior Bryant Thomas continues on in the state wrestling tournament. Bryant finished fourth at the Pendleton Heights wrestling regional to advance onto the New Castle Semi- State this Saturday. He will be wrestling a champion from one of the other feeder regionals. Good luck to Bryant.

Three Grapplers advance in State Tournamnet

 Three AHS wrestlers moved onto the Pendleton Heights wrestling regional this Saturday as part of the IHSAA state wrestling tournament. Senior Bryant Thomas at 138, freshman Zach Saylor at 195 and senior Tommie Larkin at 285, all will be competing at the regional. Thomas ran his record to 16-5 on the season. Saylor now stands
