Indians News · Nadaline bests all Arabians on Pendleton’s home course

PENDLETON — 2017 Regional qualifier Alexa Nadaline hasn’t missed a beat in 2018 as she tied for 2nd place last night in the tri-match between the Tribe, Heritage Christian, and host Pendleton Heights. Nadaline shot a 43, finishing ahead of all Pendleton Heights golfers, and tying Heritage Christian’s Morgan Hicks. HC’s Yanah Rolston was the overall winner.

Claire Mountcastle finished with a 57 while Dakotah Alumbaugh (64) and Jaide Flatter (66) rounded out the scoring for the Indians.

“We’re just trying to get better and lower our scores all the time,” Anderson head coach Joe Nadaline said. “We really want to work on our short game … we’re still giving away too many strokes around the green and that’s one of the main things we need to work on.”

Anderson next takes on Frankton on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Meadowbrook Golf Course in Anderson.
