Game Recap

The Indians defeated Hagerstown 11-1 thanks to a strong start. Indians took the lead on a home run in the first inning.
Indians secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the fifth inning. Indians’s big inning was driven by a fielder’s choice by Rachel Duncan, a double by Sierra Cunningham, a double by Azariah Fuller, a single by Aly Milburn, a single by Lauren McGinnis, and a single by Duncan.
Hagerstown took an early lead in the first inning.
Indians took the lead for good with three runs in the first inning. In the first Emma Kelley homered driving in three runs.
Indians scored seven runs in the fifth inning. Indians scored on a fielder’s choice by Duncan, a double by Cunningham, a double by Fuller, a single by Milburn, a single by McGinnis, and a single by Duncan.
Cunningham earned the win for Indians. She went six innings, giving up one run, five hits, striking out seven, and walking zero.
Indians had 11 hits in the game. Kelley and Milburn each collected multiple hits for Indians. Duncan, Fuller, and Kelley each drove in two runs to lead Indians. Indians was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error.
