Game Recap

Wednesday night, the Lady Indians Soccer team played Yorktown at Anderson High School. With 12 players, the Lady Indians played the game with only 1 sub. Despite the disadvantage, the Indians played valiantly.

Throughout the game, the Lady Indians showed signs of promise. They completed several combination passes that penetrated the Yorktown defense. Maleah Grines had 3 shots on goal that were saved by the Yorktown goalie. On the opposite side of the field, the Lady Indians goalie, Lexi Fairer, had an incredible 27 saves. However, Yorktown’s talented forwards and midfielders were able to score a total of 9 goals, resulting in a 9-0 Yorktown victory.

The Lady Indians will be playing their second game of the season on Monday, August 21 at Wapahani High School.
