Game Recap

The Indians defeated Yorktown with a 15-14 walk-off single in the 7th inning. Yorktown took an early lead, scoring 5 in the first and 8 in the second, including two home runs. The Indians answered with a total of 19 hits including home runs by Aly Milburn and Sierra Cunningham. Cunningham lead the offense, going 3-4 with a home run and 3 RBI’s. Rachel Duncan assisted, hitting 3-5 with a double and two singles. With two outs in the bottom of the 7th, Kalin Hubble hit a walk-off single, driving in Emma Kelley to earn the victory. The Indians will face New Castle away on Tuesday at 5:00.
