Lady Tribe celebrates 2015-16 Madison County Championship

ANDERSON — Rebuilding and inexperience are terms that usually get bandied about by coaches who lose seven players off the previous season’s roster.

But as Anderson girls basketball coach Shannon Cleckley enters his second year at the Lady Tribe’s helm, he isn’t looking to follow that pattern.

“I have been very pleased with what I have seen so far,” Cleckley said. “We bring back experience. Our potential starters have had significant playing time. We might be a bit young down our bench.”

Part of the reason for optimism is the returning of 5-foot-9 pivot Keniga Hamilton, who just might be the fiercest rebounder the city has ever known in girls basketball.
