Game Recap

The Lady Indians won their first game of the season on Thursday against Connorsville with a score of 2-1.

In the first half, Connorsville took an early lead off a free kick goal, but the Lady Indians got a response from Maddy Smith when she tied the game by adding her first goal of the season off of a corner kick.

In the second half, Maleah Grines’s aggressive play would reward the Indians with a corner kick. Off the corner, Azariah Fuller would also add her first goal of the season from Maleah Grines’s cross, giving the Indians the lead. The defensive play of Breanna Llamas, Maria Medina, Nige Johnson, and Alexa Renteria and several key saves from goalkeeper Alexis Fairer would secure the Indians their first win of the season.
